I’m lucky enough to currently be in San Francisco, eagerly awaiting the kick-off of SFO AdTech for 2009.

The thing I’m most excited about is seeing & hearing new ideas on digital performance marketing and general new on-line trends from North America, the biggest and most progressive digital country. Hopefully I’ll come back with a head full of new ideas & perspectives, ready to challenge the status quo even more, and yes beyond just Search Marketing.

    how did you find it. i attended in 08 and really enjoyed it.

      Great conference, so much better than AdTech Sydney (sorry Sydney). We went primarily for the keynotes (Jason Killar, Jimmy Wales, IAB panel debates with CMO’s of Coke, CBS Interactive etc) & to explore other possible tech vendors. Great to see where the USA is ( or isn’t) and gauge the next performance trend to hit Australia. The breakout sessions were only 6/10 though.

      Also spent time with new CEO of Efficient Frontier (DK), explored product roadmaps and then off to NYC to chew the fat with some CEO’s of global Ad Groups to get their take on big client demands across the digital spectrum.

      Great trip, will definitely go to AdTech SFO again. Also going to AdTech NYC in November this year so it will be a good comparison of West Coast vs East Cost thinking.
